A family on an English hillside

Founded by Liz and Rob, the vineyard combines a passion for quality, local pride, and a commitment to learning and improving every season. Liz, who was born and raised in Eccleshall, brings extensive experience from leadership roles in telecommunications and luxury retail, helping shape the customer experience and direction of the business. Rob, a Chartered Accountant by profession, oversees the financial side of Grove Estate and has embraced vineyard life with enthusiasm, despite starting with very little horticultural experience.

The distinctive Grove Estate identity has been created by Holly, Liz's daughter, whose work on the branding and online presence has helped establish a recognisable look across the range.

Like many English vineyards, much of what we know has been learned through hands-on experience, countless hours spent among the vines, and the generous support of fellow growers, including the team at Halfpenny Green.

From winter pruning through to harvest, vineyard work remains a remarkably hands-on process. Every season brings new challenges, and during harvest time we are always grateful for an extra pair of hands.

Our ambition is simple: to produce exceptional wines that reflect both the quality of the fruit and the character of the local area. We are proud to represent Eccleshall and have been overwhelmed by the support we have received since releasing our first wines.
